2008 Democratic Convention: Obama's Acceptance Speech
On August 28, 2008, Barack Obama deliver an extremely memerable acceptance speech. In his speech he talked about the goals for america if he becomes president of the United States. One of the major goals he had was giving children a world class education, which is also supposed to help the global economy in the future. In order to accomplish that goal, Obama plans on recruiting a large amount of new teachers and paying them very well. In return he expects higher standards and accountability. Another goal of Obama's is to tap our natural gas reserves and invest in technologies that will enable us to break away from our dependency on oil. Obama also plan to reach the goal of providing every citizen with affordable and accessible health care. Finally, Obama touches on how he will impliment equal pay for an equal day's work for men and women. I agree wholeheartedly with Barack Obama's goals for America. I really feel that goals......
