Technical Writting Process
I would like to create a user manual for one of the software applications we develop. The purpose of the user manual would be to build trust with the costumer and to ensure them that they made the right decision in purchasing our software, inform the customers about our software, and instruct them on how to use the software safely and correctly. By writing this user manual the customer will become more confident in buying our software. They will be more likely to continue to purchase products from us and we will get better reviews from our customers.
There are three main steps to writing a successful and productive user manual. Each step is extremely important and will relate to the user manual I would like to create. The first step of the writing processes is pre-writing. In the pre-writing phase I will plan out the user manual that I am creating. I will further examine the purpose of why I am writing.
