I was about 8 when I first remember my grandmother telling me that I had to take responsibility for my actions. As a kid I didn’t put much thought into that statement. Then as I grew older and went through some important decisions, I did some soul searching over some of the choices I made that did turn out so well. We have all had them. That choice that we make where we think I had no choice or it wasn’t my fault or that person, how could he/she do this to me. Sound familiar? I know I have had my fair share of these. It wasn’t until I took my first psychology course in college that a voice inside of me started to gain strength. No I was starting to become delusional, I began to listen again to my conscience. It wasn’t so much the class that opened my eyes but the teacher who taught it. He approached life with a fun easy going attitude, he told us at the beginning of the course that he wasn’t there as a babysitter but he was there to......
