In A Serial Killer’S Mind

For as far as our records go, there as been as many as 1,500 serial killers since late 1500 A.D. A serial killer is defined as a person that has killed three or more persons in three separate events with a cooling off period between murders; which means that at least 4,500 people died from the hand of another human when it could possibly have been avoided. Keep in mind that 4,500 is the least amount of victims possible, but the actual number is unknown or very hard to determine as it is said a lot of the serial killer’s victims are never found, but recent studies show that an average of 67 to 180 people die each year from the hands of serial killers, while some manage to kill dozens before being arrested, bringing the total number of victims to about 1 million.
