Anyway, that was your choice to be a policeman, you were not forced to become one. I for one, do not want to depend on you to show up in time to save my family from an armed intruder in my house. Its not good policy. And I ask you again, how many crimes were committed last year with true armor piercing rounds?? ( and regular full metal jacket rounds fired from high powered rifles don't count) You act like there are armor piercing rounds easily available. I just don't believe it and I'm pretty damn sure that statistics from any source will support my claim.
"dont be a gun homer, kool aid drinker" give me a break, did you really just say that? A armed citizenry is what makes this country work and is what has made the U.S. what it is today. It was exactly the fact that many people grew up with guns that made our military so great back in 1941. We had men that were expert marksmen before they even went to boot camp.
