For many years there have been complaints in many states in the United States that there is a shortage of nurses. Current trends among nurses suggest that the suspected demand for Registered nurses and Licensed practical nurses may exceed the supply in the years to come. The labor market for licensed practical nurses and registered nurses consist of the supply of these types of nurses and the current and future demand for nursing careers. In this paper I will explore and examine the supply and demand for nurses in the state of Arkansas and how wages are determined for nurses in the state of Arkansas.
