Going, Going, Gone
“Going green” is certainly something many people are attempting and almost all have heard about. Environmentally related issues seem to dominate media attention and scientific study. A lot of people are certainly caught up in the eco craze, finding interesting methods to live with as little environmental damage as possible. Although there is a lot of hype surrounding “going green” it is easy to wonder if it is just a fad that will soon lose its importance or if the world is changing its ways for good.
It is hard to understand why and how the craze started. The world’s population has been concerned with global warming for several decades, but there has never before been so much attention on the Earth’s climate. The most recent impetuses to fuel the eco-friendly fire is the rising gas prices and availability of “green” products.
