To sum up the description of Francis Tumblety, is to say that he was seen as a shady and foul character who had knowledge in anatomy as well as a great hatred towards females. These are the reasons why I believe that Jack the ripper was truly Francic Tumblety.

Francis Tumblety is often called America’s first serial killer. Born in 1833, he was the youngest of 11 children ; his neighbours labelled him as a dirty awkward, ignorant good for nothing boy who was utterly deprived of education. There is no formal indication that Francis had finished school at a senior level. Despite having no education, Tumblety travelled to Detroit in the USA to set up medical practices. After making a name for himself as a prominent physician he left Detroit and went off to Montreal in the fall of 1857 where he once again set up a successful medical practice.
