I decided to write about a movie because is part of our daily entertainment and sometimes movies can actually be like reality. This excellent film in my opinion shows how communication always has a reaction. It could be a positive reaction, or a negative reaction like it happens on the film that I’m going to talk about. The topic of this movie could be very helpful to discuss in class, because it could be compare to some theories that we have analyze in class. The current essay will examine the film Gossip which was directed by Davis Guggenheim in the year (2000) and it will also look at the dishonesty that occurs among people that manipulate information to obtain certain types of social advantage. This film shows how falsification, concealment and equivocation can lead to unreliable communication in different ways.
