1+1≫2
Now we take you to a classroom where the professor is delivering his course. He writes sth on the blackboard, 1+1=2？The students are confused. “What’s your opinion?” Asks the professor. After a little silence, someone raises his hand.
“Well, I don’t quite agree. As a famous economic theory says when 2 companies are merged together, that could bring out higher productivity because it now has larger scale and lower costs. That is expressed in the equation 1+1>2”
His answer has brought up some dissenting views.
“I think there are big chances that 1+1 may result in sth smaller than 2, The football club real Madrid once had the most number of big-named football stars, but with limited cooperation between them, their alliance didn’t turn out to be as perfect as we had expected. That is to say, when you put2 powerful 1s together, they may even become less powerful than they used to be separately.”
