The United Nations have been bringing nations together in peace against war since 1945. It is undeniable that the United Nations has faced numerable challenges in the 21st century trying to maintain the support of its member states and uphold its initial aim of protecting those who are unable to protect themselves. From the organizations founding in 1945 after the devastating war, till fifty years later in a modern today where we are in a world full of conflict and disagreements and vulnerable civilians, if it wasn’t for the efforts of the United Nations many of these disputes would have lead to a new world war and left millions of people unaided.
