Adam Smith, Karl Marx, John Keynes and Their Economy Models
At the beginning of the 20th century, there were two opposing views about how to manage industrial economies. On one side, there was Adam Smith’s idea of the “invisible hand.” and the classic economic model . On the other side, there was Karl Marx’s idea of the “planned economy” and the Marxist economic model. However, after a long conflict period, today both systems are not considered to be 100 % efficient economic models. When countries that were based on the classic economic theory realized their economies cannot function without the government, they incorporated the Keynesian economic model into their economic systems. On the other hand, when countries that were based on Marxist economic model realized their economies cannot function efficiently without private capital, they also incorporated the Keynesian economic model into their economic systems.
