For my independent project I plan on testing three different trees with two different sets of leaves. The types that will be tested is three that has been through photosynthesis and three that has not been through photosynthesis to see how much photosynthesis in the leaves and how much more photosynthesis it could take for the lefts to change color. The purpose for testing three different types of leafs is making sure the data is clear, understanding and accurate. Also it would help, because one set of leaves may not work well for the experiment.
The steps that will be needed to make this experiment run smoothly is first collecting the leaves and observing them under the microscope. To observe the leaves correctly the leaves have to be cut open to observe the inside of the leaves. Once that is done the other three leaves form the same tree have to be tested.
