Adulthood Life Analysis

Throughout adulthood many changes occur. Biosocial development puts at our peak in many areas by age 30 with most real declines in health being caused by lifestyle choices. Many changes also occur with our thinking processes. Cognitive development does not end with the onset of adolescence but continues into the more mature cognition of adulthood. Unlike the changes that occur in childhood, these changes are multidirectional, with some cognitive abilities such as overall intelligence we improve, with others such as expertise and skill we remain relatively stable and some abilities such as memory we fade. As we begin to experience adulthood we start to realize the psychosocial benefits of adult life. We are no longer limited by our parents, our biological maturity or restrictions placed by society, we can follow a career path of our choosing, socialise with who we wish, choose a partner, get married, have kids and live the lifestyle we dream of.
