I have not had the opportunity to attend a play since I was young. I recently saw 12 Angry Men at Genesis Theater in Reading. I was actually surprised. I am not the type to enjoy plays, but the performance I witnessed on Saturday was great. I can actually say that I enjoyed it, and would like to see another play. I always took plays as a female thing that dealt with boring ideas that I wouldn’t care about or relate to. 12 Angry Men changed my mind. It was really interesting how they brought the play, I had just read, to life in front of me.
The costumes were a great addition to the play. The costumes complimented the setting. The 12 jurors were all in suits, which is uncommon today. The suits were all made of material that you would see in that time period. They reminded me of a suit that my grand father would wear. Therefore, you could believe that it was taking place in earlier times. Juror seven also had on a particular hat familiar with that time......
