Boo

Today’s society deals with a great deal of young models. Some would say models are portrayed in and ethical way, while others say it is unethical. This leads to many dilemmas within families, agencies, media, and the whole fashion industry. Modeling is a serious issue that needs to be reconized before future damage occurs.
Giorgio Armani, one of the most recognized fashion designers has spoken about the rise in young women who are very skinny. He said that it would be better if the fashion industry did not use ’size zero’ models to stop the rise in eating disorders among young women. Coming from such a big fashion designer this will create a lot of people in the industry question if it is ethical for fashion agencies to let sickly skinny women model. Should there be a BMI (Body Mass Index) limit for every modeling Agency. Also, who’s to blame for the women’s eating disorders? The family, the media, or the fashion industry?
