Green Cleaning Revolution
Good morning class. Today I would like to speak about the newest trend in cleaning. As a residential cleaning business owner I am always reading up on the newest and most popular tricks of the trade. With so much focus on saving the environment and energy it’s all about going green. Most people think that the only way to get your house germ free is to use the harsh products sold in stores today. This is not the case! Here is an example to help you understand what my point is: let’s say you want to clean the soap scum off of your shower doors your first instinct might be to grab the nearest bottle of Clorox with bleach. This is what you were taught to use but if you look at the ingredients you can see how harsh they really are. An alternative to Clorox according to Queen of Clean published in 2003, Linda Cobb states that you can use a terry cloth soaked in lemon juice concentrate.
