Since this Survival Guide is something for me to use throughout my college career, I will convey methods I will use and methods that I will not use.

The first and foremost thing I should do before starting a block of classes is go over all the materials pertaining to the classes the day before they begin. I am already familiar with the forums and how to use asynchronous communication, so I will not elaborate any further in regards to this.

This Survival Guide will be comprised of six main topics. They are as follows: (1) Axia’s Educational Resources, (2) Upholding Academic Honesty, (3) Setting and Achieving Goals, (4) Managing Time Wisely, (5) Fostering Reading Comprehension and Retention, and (6) Applying Personality and Learning Styles.

Below I will discuss topics 1-6:
