Oedipus
Oedipus is a strong person with lots of self worth and pride. The idea of fate is very prevalent in this play and Oedipus does believe in fate, but also strongly believes the way he behaves and his own actions will have a major outcome on his life and that he can determine his own fate. There is also a profound sense of stubbornness and unwillingness of change or acceptance of anything else but his own ideas and ways. This will lead Oedipus to his ultimate demise as hard headedness and a lack of acceptance of change will often do to anybody. Oedipus also has a very short fuse and is instinctively paranoid. He is engulfed in paranoia and is led to believe that everyone around him is against him or out to get him.
Oedipus has a strong sense of fate but believes ultimately that his own actions will impact his life and that he could determine his own fate. Oedipus always believes strongly in anything he......
