PCU
PCU was a very interesting movie and the fact that it contained a lot of different view points interested me. It was nice to see all the different groups and how they interacted because I don’t usually take a step back and examine my life that closely. The movie contained a lot of different social topics that we covered and it was nice to see then reinforced.
The idea of reciprocity or the basis of exchange (give and take) played a big part in this movie considering the fact that everyone was against each other. There was a protest everyday but no one seemed to be bothering anyone else which made it very easy to get your point across. Although Samantha is one of the womynists she used reciprocity when dealing with Droz because although she was a part of the womynists she had a hard time keeping her distance, so there was a little give and take involved.
