Who should control minors’ access to “offensive” material on the Internet? (Parents? The government? Or Internet Service Providers (e.g: Jaring, Streamyx)? Why? (articles are recommended)

Parents
Play an important role on educating the child. As most of the time, children are close to parents.Thus, parents must give good education about the usefulness of Internet, and what are the bad things about, so that the child will have the understanding of the right way to use Internet. As also giving advices to them when they know their children are accessing the ‘offensive’ materials like some sexual photographic pictures, comics, websites, violent, guns, criminal games and so forth.

Government
Will act as the assistant in educating the people, for example setting some rules and regulations so that the people will be afraid of, as they know it is illegal. Or giving some information about the cyber crimes activities, government can actually set up department to handle......
