Criticism of Marxian Dialectic
In the Manifesto, Marx leans heavily on the concept of Dialectic Materialism to negotiate his idealistic social utopia, but his theory in many areas is flawed. This essay serves to uncover a fundamental reasoning inconsistency behind the DM, and show how through Man’s chronic pervasion of the ideology, Marx’s idea of a communism plane will never be a viable reality.
A primary support of the DM lies in the Law of Negation, where for each entity an element of opposition arises, giving motion to and negating the entity itself in a process of birth and destruction . But even if we acknowledge the possibility of a destination X (social utopia; ‘End of History’), Marx’s theoretical mistake lies in assuming that each steady synthesis is a process of evolution in a steady route towards X. Yet by the Law alone, inconsistencies will always exist for every new stage, every thesis producing an antithesis that will destroy the current normality.......
