The Major Themes of the Gospel Mark


The gospel according to Mark is a chronological order of stories about the life and death of Jesus and John the Baptist. Throughout the book of Mark there are miracles’ that were performed by Jesus, such as: healing the deaf and mute, raising the dead, feeding thousands with a few loafs of bread and a few fish, casting demons out and sending them into the swine, Jesus walking on water, and many more that will be covered in this paper. Who was this man so many proclaimed to be the Son of God? Most of the book of Mark covers the last week of Jesus’ life on Earth.
