HIPPA Privacy Standards and How they Effect the Health Care Field
The Function of this research paper is to discover and explain the affects that the HIPPA
Privacy Laws have had on the Healthcare officials and the Citizens that the records belong to. I
will also give explanation of the conditions for which records can be used by covered entities,
and the requirements for the covered entities to have written privacy policies. Also, I will inform
you on the preparation and training required for medical office professionals regarding the
HIPPA Privacy Laws.
HIPPA has come to be a leader in priority for health care facilities. This includes
hospitals, clinics, doctors offices, and even dentist offices. Any facility that contains or uses
medical records for any use, must follow the HIPPA Laws.
