Differences between people within any given nation or culture are much greater than differences between groups. Education, social standing, religion, personality, belief structure, past experience, affection shown in the home, and a myriad of other factors will affect human behavior and culture.
So I asked myself after realizing that we were going to attend classes on Global Management, how are we going to learn to generalize and transfer these skills in the global world? I could not understand how culture could affect or influence business conducted, pursued or otherwise. I initially did it because I am fascinated in the different ways that people think, speak, act, evaluate and communicate.
