I hope you always read David Myers’ introductions to the chapters in our book. I usually write a brief intro of my own here in these Internet lessons, just to get you thinking or pique your curiosity about the subject, but I can’t match the ones David Myers writes. He’s a master at capturing the scope of the chapter’s subject in a few paragraphs. So do read his introduction (page 395) to this chapter, as well as all other assigned ones.
