Every person has heard the term stroke before. Whether there family member had one or a friend had one, everyone knows the term. There are two different kinds of stroke; ischemic and hemorrhagic (Owens & Haas, 2007).There are certain things a person can do if they think someone is having a stroke. There are also warning signs that a person can look for if they think a person is having a stroke. Unfortunately, there are problems that occur after a stroke. Many stroke patients develop Aphasia, Apraxia, or Dysarthria. Along with these conditions, depression may also come after a person has had a stroke. Stroke recovery is what takes place after the victim has had a stroke. There are specific measures that a person can do to help a stroke victim recover.
