The saddest moment of my life would have to be when I found out my brother

died. My mom and I arrived at Sutter Solano Hospital on Saturday, February 7, 2004, at

around 1PM in the afternoon. A doctor came up to us asking if we were related to my

brother and we said yes. He then asked us to follow him. He took us into this little room

that looked like a chapel and sat us down by this desk, while he sat down across from

us. The room was dark. It had benches that churches have where people would sit

down during mass, windows that were stained glass and that had images of angels. I

got this sick feeling in my stomach and felt like it was going inside out. I felt and knew

something was wrong. The doctor then told my mom that there was nothing he could do

to save him. My mom kept shouting, “Who’s him!?” Then the doctor said, “Your son Mrs.

Hollis. He’s gone. There was nothing we could do to save him.” As soon as I......
