BEHAVIOUR IN DECISION MAKING
Case: Ejército Zapatista de Liberación Nacional
In this paper, I will talk about the importance of behaviour and emotions in the process of decision making. The first part of it will cover the theoretical part of rationality, the rational choice theory and behavioural economic. In the second part, I will give an introduction to the study case of Mexican guerrilla EZLN. Finally, I will explain through some of the behavioural economic models and theories why the people in the region of Chiapas helped the armed nucleus and why did the Mexican government failed to act pre-emptively against it.
Rationality has been used to describe many religious and philosophical theories which hold on truth, reason and knowledge. The use of reason is a key method to achieve certain knowledge.
