The existence of UFOs
UFO is an air phenomenon which one or several witnesses assert having observed without having been able to identify it or something which can have been recorded by video camera, camera, radar, etc. The existence of UFOs is considered by many as a reality but it is also a controversial subject. There has been a lot of reports made over UFOs so we can ask ourselves why governments has made a lot of expensive research over something not real?
First modern reports
Before the terms "flying saucer" and "UFO" were invented, there were numbers of reports of not identified strange air phenomena. These reports go of half of the XIXth century at the end of 1940s.
In July, 1868, according to investigators of the phenomenon, the very first observation which was well attested would have been made in the city of Copiapo in Chile. The 17th of November 1882, astronomer E.W. Maunder, of the royal observatory of Greenwich, described in a report "a strange heavenly visitor"......
