Marijuana is one of the most well-known drugs to have been widely consumed throughout the history. Marijuana comes from the Cannabis Sativa genus, and it is the female plant of this kind that people use for recreational purposes or medical purposes. The male plant, known as hemp, cannot be used to get high; however, it has other uses such as the production of oil, textile, paper, and canvas, just to name a few. Currently, marijuana is not legal in the United States as well as in many other countries, even though this issue has been discussed by governments for several years. Many patients of deadly diseases, like AIDS, have claimed that the use of medical marijuana has improved their quality of life, some times more efficiently that its pharmaceutical counterparts.
