Nationalism has been a very affective force and has played an enormous role in the world history for a few hundred years. It keeps doing so. This term appears to express something important in human affairs. Nationalism has always been of interest to historians, social theorists and also philosophers. Because world maps have had to be redrawn in effort to make state borders agrees with what are understood to be the boundaries of nation. Simply, without thinking about it, people choose one extend of territory and one collection of historical narratives as theirs, and they admit a group of people as fellow members of their nation. People have risked their lives for the well being of their nations. Moreover, health reform programs, environmental repair and social prosperity have gained political support because they request to a sense of national identity.
