Identification of Microscopic Organisms in Samples of Pond Water
Procedure
For the Lab experiment “Pond Water” We were to collect Samples of pond water from nearby ponds. The sample that we collected was from Randall Park at 8:00pm on October 21st. The way we collected it was by scraping the bottom of the pond. As many others did, we also used the other samples that others brought in. We used about 5-7 different samples for our experiment. The way we selected those, was by what appealed, what was in it, which was livelier, and what wasn’t to clean.
For this experiment we used plenty of recourses. Those being the, Fisher Compound Light Microscope, That was the most important tool, A pipette, Our Identification Packet, Glass slides, Slide covers, Tweezers, and of course our textbook. We used all of these supplies in order to complete the lab.
