Summary: Hamas militants pounded southern Israel with a rocket attack on Wednesday, just hours after Israeli forces managed to kill six gunmen. This up flare in violence could manage to unravel the five month old truce that had brought peace to Gaza and southern Israel. All of the violence began on late Tuesday when the Israeli army went into Gaza to destroy a tunnel being dug that was to be used in abducting Israeli troops. After the incursion, Hamas gunmen responded by opening fire. One Hamas fighter was killed which caused Hamas to begin shelling Israeli targets with mortar fire. An Israeli air strike then managed to kill five Hamas militants who were preparing to fire mortar shells at Israeli forces in the area. Hamas then responded by firing around 35 rockets......
