1. Have you or has any member of your family served overseas, either with Desert Storm or Operation Iraqi Freedom? Please describe.
A1. I have a few friends who have served, and are presently serving in Operation Iraqi Freedom, each of them contributing to different areas of the war. When I first read over all of the questions that were to be answered for this assignment, I automatically thought of my friend Cobey, who served as a Special Ops Officer in Iraq. Cobey was deployed twice and served a total of two years in the war. When he returned home after his first deployment, he seemed to be the same person and quickly re-acclimated himself with everyday life, outside of a war zone. I always had an interest in what, exactly, was taking place on the war front in Iraq, and kept up with the war on the news, but Cobey was my first close friend to be deployed overseas, so I’m sure he became annoyed when I asked him every detail about......
