Alcohol kills more young people than cocaine, heroin, and every other illegal drug combined. Eighteen million Americans are addicted to alcohol or have alcohol abuse issues. Alcohol is the No. 1 drug problem of today's youth.” (Source: www.madd.org) Alcohol isn’t only the number one drug problem in America’s youth, but most importantly it is the cause of most suicides amongst the youth, it leads to “an increased risk that a teen will commit or be a victim of a serious crime, such as assault, rape, or murder.” (Source: SafeYouth.org).
