The student survival guide will draw skills and information that I learned during this

course. This guide will outline six areas: Axia’s Educational Resources, Upholding

Academic Honesty, Setting and Achieving Goals, Managing Time Wisely, Fostering

Reading Comprehension and Retention, and Applying Personality and Learning Styles.


• Upholding Academic Honesty


You need to be responsible about your assignments, making sure that you are not

using anyone’s work without citing them. You have to make sure that you are not

plagiarizing someone else’s work, you have to fully reference the source of the ideas and

the assistance you received. When you have academic integrity it is the same as being

honest when you are submitting your academic work. Plagiarism undermines academic
