Character Analysis Of Abigail

The most interesting character in the play The Crucible by Arthur Miller is Abigail Williams. In the play she is a mysterious girl that believes in witchcraft. She blames others about witchcraft even though she is the one believing it. She is the "leader" of the girls, she tells them what to do and when to do it. For example when they were in the court room and she was brought in to testify against Mary Warren the girls kept repeating what Abigail said and they did everything she did. Abigail also is detested person. People don't really like her because they know about what happened with John Proctor. Elizabeth Proctor, John's wife, Also knows about the affair between them. Abigail has lost the trust of many but some people still believe her. Is she really the bad person? She is a liar, malicious and selfish.

Abiagail at first lies about dancing in the woods naked and drinking blood. Parris saw her and she still insisted that they were just dancing and that it didn't have......
