Literary analysts still argue upon the question why Hamlet waits so long to kill Claudius. There are many convincing reasons that we can draw upon to in order to explain his hesitation or delay to avenge his father’s death.

Hamlet is afraid of getting hurt and his emotional state of mind is quite unstable. He constantly battles with himself for not being able to carry out the action of avenging his father. Furthermore, he feels guilty for not understanding the reasons behind his behaviors. According to how the play portrays Hamlet, for example, he seems to be polluted with conflicting world view. Hamlet is also decisive and besides this, his holds the responsibilities of a prince with overwhelming melancholic disposition and his main-depression. This may question how he lives with himself or how his struggles begin to turn his world upside down. His current situation and psychological state of mind one makes......
