Marriage is a personal relation arising out of a civil contract between a man and a woman, to which the consent of the parties capable of making that contract is necessary. But unfortunately this definiton does not apply to same-sex marriage. Who are people to say whom everyone should marry and be together with?. People who aren’t gay shouldn’t give judgment to those who are gay because for a human to fully understand a situation, he/she has to experience that situation first hand. Beliefs and ethics are individual understandings to an extent, or to the actual limit of understanding that humans are created with. Gay marriage is a phenomenon that raises a lot of arguments in the society and not being able to solve this situation will only cause more discrimination and an unfriendly environment.
