Most of us face the perils of depression at some point in our lives. We are all familiar with what it feels like to be sad and it is perfectly normal given the circumstances, however, the problem arises when it manifests itself into something more than a one day event. Many people suffer the symptoms of depression and a good portion of them go on without ever seeking help. They believe that the negative feelings they are experiencing are simply a character flaw and will pass if given enough time. In our current time, there is a great deal of adolescent depression, far more than the older generation.
