Effects of smoking



Millions of people die from the effects of smoking. Still many Americans don't stop smoking. One might say that smoking helps them calm down or feel less stressed out. Even though that cigarette might help them right there and then, but in the long run they are just taking years away from life. Cigarette is one of the main causes of so many people dying every year.

You might hear people calling a cigarette a "cancer stick", because it causes cancer. Even though when you buy a pack and it says so on the box, why doesn't it stop people right there and then? Even the smoke of it kills people. Second hand smoking-kills more people than people who actually smoke cigarettes. I see parents smoking in front of their kids all the time, don't they know that even though they might be the one smoking the cigarette but its killing their own kids faster.

The average American can save so much money from not buying cigarettes. Every year cigarette prices go up, yet......
