Two Asia Pacific super powers – namely Japan and India play a strategic role in controlling the Asian market. The economy of India, measured in USD exchange-rate terms, is the twelfth largest in the world, with a GDP of around $1 trillion (2008). In contrast, Japan is the 2nd largest in the world economy after United States.
India is a developing country and Japan is way ahead in its technology when compared to many other countries. For example, the average household internet speed in Japan is the highest – 16Mbps (http://speedtest.net/global.php), w.rt USA which has an average speed 5Mbps.
