My Teaching Philosophy I
My teaching philosophy has been shaped; to a large extent by my years in military service I was constantly dealing with “experienced “people. Given that others now look at me as an “experienced”. I call on past experience to remind myself that it’s not the years that matter, but the quality and variety of experiences that come from the years. I have been a full-time student for 4 years. I also have 25 years of work experience combined between the military, and Department of Defense, but most importantly, I have three daughters, two attending University, I look back on my roles as a student, an employee, a manager, and a father to see how they have shaped my approach to the classroom.
