Death
When a person looks at their life they usually don’t see an end. Why would they, most people think about what they are going to do tomorrow and who they are going to do it with. We don’t usually go to bed thinking about how life would be if we lost someone we loved or how they would feel if we never awoke in the morning. There is a good reason that most of us avoid talking or even thinking about dying; it’s scary. It has long been known that we as humans fear death. With all that we do throughout a lifetime, we never think of the day that might come where we might lose someone we know or where we would go after leaving this life. It is not that we want to live for ever; it is simply that we want to be able to control when we leave this earth. It is this lack of control that we fear and not death itself, the death is just the stepping stone to wherever we go in the afterlife.
