The London 2012 Olympic Games

The world’s most important sports event for over a thousand years is the Olympic Games which are an international multi-sport competition which select the athletes from different nations to compete against each other in a variety of sports and are held every four years at a different site (http://wiki.answers.com). From its beginning, as a competition for the citizens of ancient Greece and other surrounding countries, the Olympics have developed into a world wide commercially event and the Games have always brought people together in peace to respect universal moral principles.
