God came to Abraham and told him to take his son Isaac to the land of Moriah and give him as a burnt offering. So that next morning Abraham woke up, packed up his donkey, and took two servants and Isaac with him to the mountains of Moriah. Once they got to the mountains Abraham tells the servants to stay by the donkey. Isaac and Abraham walk up farther up the mountain. After a while Isaac noticesthat they are about to give an offering to God and asks his father why there is no lamb to give as an offering. Abraham says that God is going to provide the lamb when they get there. Then Abraham starts building an altar for the sacrifice and is just about to slaughter hisson. But Abraham hears the voice of an angel telling him not togive Isaac as a sacrifice. SoAbraham catches a ram and burns that and gives that as a sacrifice to God instead. God sees that Abraham was about to give up his only son to him. God tells Abraham that he now knows for sure that Abraham is fearful of him and his......
