1) Robert Langdon
Robert Langdon is a renowned Harvard symbologist who is also the major protagonist in the story. As described in the book, although he is already in his forties, he continues to draw girls because of his captivating features and his low, baritone voice.
2) Sophie Neveu
Sophie Neveu is thirty-two year old cryptographer who joins Langdon in the fast-paced quest about the truth of her own self. She is the granddaughter of Jacques Saunière, whose unusual death, triggers the fast-paced adventure narrated in the story.
3) Bezu Fache
Bezu Fache is the captain of the Central Directorate Judicial Police. He is called the Bull by his subordinates because of his fierce personality.
