My whole life I have never been to Carnegie Hall, I’ve only heard of it a couple of times, but I never really knew what it was other than a place where music was performed. Every day when I would walk to school, I would see Carnegie Hall and always wanted to go in to see what kind of music was performed there. Then the day came when I signed up for Music 101, I honestly thought that I was going to learn about modern music and how it was made, but little did I know that I was in for a rude awakening. Throughout the semester we learned about different types of music genres and styles. When I received the paper describing what I was going to be doing I was pretty stunned. I had never been to a concert and the paper required that we attend a classical music concert.
