Maximilien Robespierre was a figure of the French Revolution and without his influence the revolution would have turned out a lot differently.
Robespierre was born on May 6th 1758in Arras, France. He was French and was Deism which meant he believed in a supreme being. Robespierre was the oldest of four children and was raised by his maternal grandfather when his parents passed away young.
Robespierre attended Louis-le-Grande, a collage in Paris in which he studied law and politics. While Robespierre attended this collage Louis XVI visited the school and Robespierre was chosen out of five hundred students to deliver a speech to the king and queen. On the day of the speech the king and queen were several hours late, stayed in the coach and immediately left after he was done speaking. Nobody would have thought that in the near future Robespierre would be one who works toward the death of the king.
